Our Services

The Seniority caregiving process begins with an assessment in the client’s home that includes the client, family members and our Client Relations Manager. This is a crucial step since the initiation of care can be a confusing and threatening experience. It’s important, at this point, for the client to understand the benefits of accepting assistance in doing things they have always done for themselves and that it is not a sign of weakness but rather a natural part of the aging process.

The assessment process looks at the client’s general health, specific issues, needs and expectations for homecare, fears and concerns and financial limitations. Since homecare is not covered by any insurance other than Long Term Care Insurance, we need to consider financial comfort as well as needs when making our recommendations.

Once the appropriate level and frequency of care is agreed on, the Client Relations Manager proceeds to match the personalities of available caregivers with those of the clients to assure that a bond is created which allows for the most valuable of our services – companionship.

Care levels and frequency change as the client’s needs and health issues change. Someone returning home after surgery or prolonged illness may need 24 hour care for a period and then lesser amounts as their strength and mobility return. On the other hand, care needs may increase as health and abilities deteriorate. Seniority Lifecare is always mindful of these changing needs to maximize our benefit to the client and minimize the costs.

Our services and hours are as flexible as we can make them and we have provided the following selection of service plans to form the base from which we can customize a plan to fit your needs.
